What you should know when you are trying to get a marketing degree

Personal Branding is an ongoing process of establishing a prescribed image in the mind of others about an individual. It also provides a clear focus for personal development while establishing yourself as a thought leader. When going for a marketing degree, here is a long explanation about it. If you want to know more about my personal brand, here are somethings that are involved in my personal brand. One day in class, I realized that some of the skills I possess are communication, collaboration, and selling. I am aspiring to be a store manager or getting a marketing job at Kwik Trip or something. First, I will apply for a co-worker position. Second, I will get the co-worker position. Third, I will work as many hours and do very good work. Last, I will move the ranks to be store manager. I learned I could show my brand by doing a trifold or sample of work in marketing but I decided to make a website about myself instead. An item that I created was a website about me. I felt very proud about making a website about myself. I had to learn how to use WordPress to post something on my website. I can use these skills in a marketing career by getting information from the business to put on their website.  Another item that I created was a LinkedIn account. I also felt amazed of how many things there are in LinkedIn. I learned that there are a lot of different things in LinkedIn that can help me prepare for and find a job. I also learned how to communicate with other people on LinkedIn. Another item that I created was an new and improve resume for new employers. I was feeling happy and energetic about making a new resume for future employers.I learned how to critique other people’s resumes to see how I can improve mine. I will need to be able to communicate with other employees and collaborate with the employer to see if they need me to do extra work.
