A New Western Marketing Student at WTC

  1. Why you chose Western to get your Associate Degree in Marketing. Because, it would take me three years to get it and I thought it would be a fun degree to get.

 

  1. What did you know/hear about the college that made you choose us (and how did you find out). I heard it was a three-year school and my school guidance counselor told me about the college.

 

  1. After being a student here for 4 weeks, is it living up to your expectations?  It is really living up to my expectations.

 

  1. What is one thing that bothers you or you wish was different? That we could have the Wellness Center a little bit closer.

 

  1. What is at least one thing you really like about Western? One thing that I really like Western is that the teachers are nice here.

 

  1. Have you taken advantage of any of the student resources at Western yet and if so, how did that go? I went to the library twice and got some work done.

 

  1. What classes do you have? I have Written Communication, Selling Principles, Marketing Principles, Software Apps. For Business, and Orientation to Marketing.

 

  1. How do you like what you’re learning so far? I like how the teacher is explaining the chapter and the assignments to us really carefully.

 

  1. Have you had an ‘Ah ha’ moments or have you been able to connect anything you’ve learned to what you see/do in real life? No.

 

  1. List 2 goals you want to accomplish and tell what you need to do to accomplish them.
    – Short term – I want to get good grades this semester and I need to study very hard and don’t get distracted.
    – Long term – I hope to be an apprentice after I graduate and I need to get very good grades the next year and a half.
